I am MEGA excited to be looking for my first motorcycle!!
... I thought I would put it out there and see if anyone has any suggestions or offers that you think would be for me?!
I'm pretty open as to what kind of bike I get, can be British or American, or a little Honda even...
Not in a huge rush either. Come at me!!

Being surrounded by your immediate crew, I'm sure you'll end up with something perfect for you, getting a bike, whatever it turns out to be, will be the single greatest decision you make in your life, excellent news.

ReplyDeleteI have gone through 4 different kinds of bike in the past 6 months and I now I have my Triumph bobber. I truly love it and will not change. Imogen you just have to find a bike that expresses you. Not to sound gay but you just have to feel " that bike " is yours !
ReplyDeleteDon't get too hung up over how it looks. Your first bike needs to give you confidence out on the roads so I'd say it's more important that everything works properly and stays working, if it looks cool as well, that's a bonus! Then you can play about with where you like the controls, what seat height works for you, how much weight you can deal with etc. Sounds dull but it'll make the difference between wanting to ride it and thinking about taking the car instead.

ReplyDeletelearn to ride on a cheap 250cc motorcycle (honda rebel/kawasaki ex250/honda xr250). buy something cheap/light/reliable that you can learn/crash/ride. if you're still into riding after your first bike you can spend making your second bike the bike of your dreams.
